At Pecan Grove Baptist Church, we realize that our Christian life isn’t fulfilled by simply coming together to worship our Lord on Sundays. Instead, we’re called to worship Him every day with the very lives we live!
The latter part of Acts 1:8 says that Christians shall be His witnesses “in Jerusalem, in Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the world.” This means, to us, that we are called to be His witnesses locally, regionally, and internationally. And that’s what doing “missions” is – it is our mission to be His witnesses locally, regionally, and internationally, meeting physical and emotional needs and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do that individually in our homes and in our workplaces, but we also do that together as a church team.
There are many different ways that Pecan Grove Baptist Church serves together, through meeting local needs, partnering together with other churches, and by taking “mission trips” to other states and other countries. Again, our Christian life is not being lived as it should be unless we partner together and serve! And at Pecan Grove Baptist Church, that is what we’re about!
